Precious Metal Clay or "PMC" is a Clay based material made of tiny metal particles, an organic binding agent and water. It can be sculpted and molded, dried, and fired at extremely high heat turns solid.

In this beginner level class you will learn navigate a professional jewelry studio and tools necessary to imagine your design in three dimension and sculpt it into existence out of of Bronze PMC using a variety of carving tools and hand building techniques. You will learn to embed findings, prep for firing, and professionally finish your piece/pieces into wearable pieces of jewelry.

PMC is excellent for creating Pendants, Rings, earrings, settings,  and even miniature sculptures. The possibilities with this medium are endless!

By the end of class you will  finish multiple  pieces of jewelry or sculptures. Your pieces will be kiln fired and tumbled so they can be picked picked up the following week.
